Default suggestion regarding deco in PVE / PVP

Hello every one,

Before we start ; english is not my mother tongue hence please be kind and excuse some mistakes i could have made.

I roamed around the threads to see if this problem has already been tackled. It seems not in this forum .
So here are my suggestions with the work of several other people in other forums (thanks to them).

Issue is the deconnection of players during the game.

The deconnections are of two types: intentional / fortuitous. To leave intentionally is coarse and cannot be avoided. But the accidents, the deconnections due to lag etc. are not desired, unexpected and very frustrating for the whole team and the interested player.

In PVE and PVP that can ruin the chance and the fun of a whole team if the key members leave.

I thus found myself in the UW with only 2 Monk/1 Mesmer/1 Elementalist. Others crashed or disconnected. Completing the mission was such a pain because some of the members had left. Playing in Europe, we had lost the divine favour since and all the evening was passed for nothing.

Another time, I crashed and the whole team had to continue without one of their monks. We were far in the crack and I was very frustrated not to be able to play the end of the mission.

these are PVE examples because i know little about PVP.

We should be able to invite back someone who crashed. Only him, and only the character he was playing when he crashed. In case he does not want to come back or if the player left for some reasons, replace him with the equivalent henchman.

It should not be automated to let a fixing time (like a reboot of the computer). This also prevents automatic spawning of a henchman to replace the sole human player in a party thus resulting in never ending instance. Instead make it the leader decision.

I admit this solution doesn't fit quite well PVP because a departure often means the end of the fight. but in case they survive they surely will be happy to have their fellow with them or a henchman at least. For PVP it could be a mix : replacing with henchman AND, during waiting time, invite the missings.

How to do this ? i suggest an icon to click on the party screen. Or the use of a signet or rez spell. Maybe death penalty...

Perhaps all this is not possible. Dev's have done such a good job until now that i contracted day-dreaming illness

I really want to hear Anet's thinking about all this. Even to prove me i am wrong.

thanks for your reading

Excellent idea.

I also love it how non-native speakers usually have a much broader vocabulary and seem to have a far greater concern for language when it comes to posting on message boards.

Either that, or you don't understand a thing of what they're trying to say.
